I believe that when we are having fun together, we are learning together! Nothing brings me greater joy than digging into your child's interests and nurturing a strong connection, which is the foundation to therapeutic progress. I look forward to working collaboratively with you to determine your family's priorities and how to implement strategies into activities you are already doing.
Things that fill my cup outside of being an SLP: hiking, traveling, and amateurly critiquing the recipes on The Great British Baking Show.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences and Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and my master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from The George Washington University. I have worked with children from 12 months to 18+ years in school, home, outpatient clinic, telehealth, and private practice settings.
I have experience with Floortime/DIR, SCERTS, Hanen, Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking curriculums (We Thinkers!, Superflex) and have been trained in Orton Gillingham Plus Literacy, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Feeding, AEIOU Feeding Approach, and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-II (ADOS-II).
