Please ask plenty of questions and share your concerns during your initial consultation to make sure Summit Speech is the right fit for you.
Everyone's favorite answer- it depends! That said, earlier is always better! If you have any concerns about your child's speech and language development, it never hurts to reach out. We can talk through your observations in greater detail and determine if speech therapy would be beneficial for your family.
Summit Speech is out-of-network with all insurance providers. However, after payment is processed, we can provide you with a Superbill at the end of each month to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. You can also opt to pay using HSA funds. It is recommended that you contact your insurance prior to beginning services.
An evaluation is required prior to beginning therapy. Exceptions can be made if your child participated in a speech and language evaluation in the past 6 months and that report is available.
Every situation is different. After your child's evaluation we will talk through the results and the estimated timeline to reach the goals we have determined together.
